TOLES TESTS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Language and terminology skills related to legal and business issues such as commercial transactions on the global market
- Ability to write formal letters and concise emails
- Techniques of writing legal documents, projects, contracts and pleadings
- Understanding complicated professional documentation
- Skills related to negotiation language
- -Grammatical correctness and ability to formulate grammatically correct statements
You can take the exam many times on different levels – achieved percentage is crucial.
TOLES Foundation and TOLES Higher:
Scores are presented on a scale of 0 to 100 %, divided into four grades:
81-100 % – candidate has EXCELLENT knowledge in legal English at the selected level
- 61-80% – candidate has VERY GOOD knowledge in legal English at the selected level
- 41-60% – candidate has SATISFACTORY knowledge in legal English at the selected level
- 0-40% – candidate has POOR knowledge in legal English at the selected level
