Why You should take part in Erasmus? There are various opinions about details related to the program but all of them are positive! Apart from a large dose of knowledge and professional experience, the program gives interesting contacts and hearty friendships. Moreover, it helps to develop language skills which are required from the participants.

Better job – foreign experience enriches CV of a candidate: Erasmus internships increase the value of young employees starting their career; participants of the program are quicker in finding jobs and their salary if higher even by 25%

Language proficiency – studying abroad is related not only to learning but also to meeting and socializing with native speakers

Network of contacts – relations built during foreign studies will be useful in the future jobs, businesses or social activities

European identity – living and studying in the European country allows You to feel the idea of the united European Union

HOW ERASMUS WORKS? CONDINTIONS RELATED TO PARTICIPATING, RECRUITMENT, DOCUMENTS AND SCHOLARCHIP

To study or undertake an internship abroad You must take part in the recruitment process, conducted by the University of Law.

WHO CAN GO?

    • Students of at least second year of undergraduate or master’s degree studies
    • Students having good grades and required language skills (at least B1 level)

HOW LONG IT TAKES TO STUDY WITHIN ERASMUS PROGRAM?

  • 12 months maximum for undergraduate studies
  • 24 moths maximum for master’s degree studies

Provided that the student has mobility capital

WHAT IS THE MOBILITY CAPITAL?

This is the number of months spent abroad within Erasmus program (12 and 24 months). It includes all departures realized within studying program during a lifetime (Lifelong Learning Program) and/or Erasmus Mundus at the same level of studies carried out between 2007-2020

RECRUITMENT, DOCUMENTS AND CONDITIONS OF ERASMUS+

Students interested in taking part in the program should contact Student Affairs Office – Erasmus Plus Coordinator for the University of Law and submit following documents:

    • Certificate from the Students Affairs Office related to grade point average
    • Document proving language skills after passing required exam or equivalent language certificate
    • Covering letter together with the justification and indication of the chosen university and preferred semester of the departure

REQUIREMENTS Only students taking part in studies abroad (at the same or related field) can be awarded Erasmus scholarship. Basic requirements are: grade point average min. 4.0, language skills grade min. 4.0. Other requirements: additional scientific achievements, active participation in the university life, settlement of the academic year preceding the year of departure and lack of any subjects arrears.

STAGES OF RECRUITMENT

  1. Language skills examination is conducted by the academic teacher of the University of Law or by submitting required language certificate.
  2. The Recruitment Commission Erasmus Plus interviews candidates on the agreed dates
  3. The announcement of results – Intranet publication of the list of candidates who qualified for the program and the reserve list.

ERASMUS+ SCHOLARSHIP

University of Law guarantees the scholarship for the period of five months (foreign studies). Internships abroad are related to a three-month scholarship. Funding of the extended study or internship program is possible after receiving financing from the National Agency.

Departing student does not lose any student rights in Poland (f.ex. national scholarships are still paid). During the time of performing mobility agreement (hereinafter referred to as: Learning Agreement) student is exempted from tuition payments for the University of Law.
