HISTORY
University of Law in Wroclaw was established on the 28th of August 2014, pursuant to the decision of the Minister of Science and Higher Education nr DSW.ZNU.6010.1.2014.5.MC which allowed the School to conduct education at a five-year uniform master’s degree studies in the field of law.
University of Law in Wroclaw was included in the register of non-public universities under number 377.
The founder of University of Law is Chodkowska Warsaw University of Technology.
University of Law is created in accordance with the current activity of the University of Technology – Faculty in Wroclaw and continues long-standing tradition related to the experience of the Founder.

University of Management and Law in Warsaw (previously called: University of Management and Marketing) was established on the 28th of May 1992, pursuant to the decision of the Minister of National Education (DNS-3-TBM-31/92) in accordance with the Act on Higher Education of 12 September 1990.

Pursuant to the decision of the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Helena Chodkowska became the patron of the University of Management and Law.

Pursuant to the decision nr MNiSW-DNS-WUN-6022-4833-2/IŻ/09 the Minister of Science and Higher Education granted the University of Management and Law – Faculty in Wroclaw permission to conduct uniform master’s degree studies in the field of law.

The campus building of Faculty in Wroclaw was purchased. It is situated in a baroque building in the city center, St. Jadwiga Street nr 12.

Pursuant to the decision nr MNiSW-DNS-WUN-6022-15952-2/11 the Minister of Science and Higher Education granted the Faculty in Wroclaw permission to conduct a first cycle studies in the field of administration.
21st of February 2014
Chodkowska University of Management and Law – after the merger with Warsaw Higher School of Trade and Logistics – adopted the name Chodkowska University of Technology, pursuant to the decision nr DKN.ZNU.6014.55.2014.2.MC of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Pursuant to the decision of the Minister of Science and Higher Education nr DSW.ZNU.6010.1.2014.5.MC the Faculty in Wroclaw became University of Law named after Helena Chodkowska. On that day, the Higher School of Law was also granted permission to conduct a five-year uniform master’s degree studies in the field of law.

Pursuant to the decision nr DSW.WNN.6022.17.2017.EK.3 the Minister of Science and Higher Education granted the University of Law permission to conduct first cycle studies with a practical profile in the field of internal security.
